有的动词后加个up构成短语，与原动词含义的不同之处？
请教老师，有的动词如save和pack，加上up构成短语save up和pack up后，含义和使用方法上与单独的动词用有哪些差别吗？
up 跟一些动词连用，构成短语动词。除去方位“向上”，还有哪些意思？
谈到up，它除去基本义是“向上”（goup, come up, get up, pick up, stand up, climb up, look up, put up, set up, takeup等等）以外，还有一个非常重要的使用方法，就是表示“完结和结束”，常常跟一些及物动词连用，这种动词一般与“消费和消耗”有关。比如：
use up:
用尽After he lost his job, he had to use up allhis savings.他失业后尽吃老本。
eat up: 吃光
It was greedy ofthem to eat up all the candy.他们把所有些糖都吃光了，真贪吃。
drink up: 喝干
To my surprise,she drink up the whole bottle of wine.使我惊奇的是，她把一瓶酒全喝了。
swallow up: 吞没
It is believedthat a black hole can swallow up any objects like stars near it.据了解黑洞可以将周围的所有物体，如星星吞食掉。
buy up: 买断

sell up: 售完

wash up: 洗净

finish up: 用尽

sum up: 总结
You have only 100words in which to sum up his speech.你只可以用100字来概括他的讲话。
pack up: 表示pack 的结果：“打包结束；打起包来”
save up:表示save 的结果：“储蓄起来；贮存起来”
在有时候，假如不突出“结果”意义，up 可以不需要。假如用了一般过去时和目前完成时，意思也差不多。
